SCORING SYSTEM |
Starting with the 2010 CITSA contests and Indiana State Fair Band Day, a new scoring system and sheets will be used. Bands will be evaluated on the following scale:
| Music Performance - 30 points |
| Visual Performance - 30 points |
| Music General Effect - 20 points |
| Visual General Effect - 20 points |
| Total of 100 points |
Two judges will be assigned to Music Performance and their scores will be averaged.
Two judges will be assigned to Visual Performance and their scores will be averaged.
One judge will be assigned to Music General Effect and one judge will be assigned to Visual General Effect. Their scores will not be averaged.
For Preliminary Performances only to determine caption award winners, one judge will be assigned to Auxiliary and one judge will be assigned to Percussion.
The Central States Judges Association will provided the judges.
