SCORING SYSTEM |
The CITSA contests and Indiana State Fair Band Day, use the following scoring:
| Music Performance - 30 points |
| Visual Performance - 30 points |
| Music General Effect - 20 points |
| Visual General Effect - 20 points |
| Total of 100 points |
Two judges will be assigned to Music Performance at Band Day and their scores will be averaged (one judge is used at CITSA events).
Two judges will be assigned to Visual Performance at Band Day and their scores will be averaged (one judge is used at CITSA events).
One judge will be assigned to Music General Effect and one judge will be assigned to Visual General Effect. Their scores will not be averaged.
For Preliminary Performances only to determine caption award winners, one judge will be assigned to Auxiliary and one judge will be assigned to Percussion.
