2013 AWARDS & PRIZE MONEY |
At the end of Band Day preliminary competition, the following awards will be presented:
Plaques and $850 cash award to bands placing 17 - 25
Plaques and $600 cash award to bands placing 26 - 30
Plaques and $550 cash award to bands placing 31 and below
Plaques to the top scoring bands in music, visual, general effect, auxiliary, and percussion in Classes A, AA, and AAA.
Trophies to the 3 top three scoring small bands in Classes A, AA, and AAA.
Additional $200 in appearance money to first time Band Day bands or to bands that have been absent from the competition for the previous 10 years
At the end of Band Day finals competition, the following awards will be presented:
$200 in appearance money to the Class A, AA, and/or AAA champions who are not among the Top 16 bands and perform in exhibition prior to the start of the evening performance
Trophies to the 16 finalists plus cash awards based on finals placement:

TRAVEL ALLOWANCE
A travel allowance will be paid to each participating school according to the following guidelines:
Zone 1 - 1-49 miles (one way) - $80 per bus
Zone 2 - 50-99 miles (one way) - $110 per bus
Zone 3 - 100+ miles (one way) - $140 per bus
